At Rafter W Saddlery we are proud to make great custom saddles that fit the ranching way of life. A Wade tree is our specialty but we can custom built anything you like. Our trees are made of cottonwood with a heavy bull hide covering making our trees virtually indestructible. We take great pride in our saddle structure starting with a full leather ground seat that is shaped to get the narrowest seat possible for the comfort needed in full days ride. Rafter W offers a quality handmade saddle at an affordable price that can’t be beat. “I have been involved in farming and ranching since I was little and I have been able to use that knowledge to put together an affordable saddle that can hold up to the use of a hard days ride, time and time again. I still ranch and farm today, and the saddles I make can rope that distempered bull that won’t come out of the trees, take a pleasurable ride just seeing the country, burn some mule hide all day branding calves. We use our saddles and understand the meaning of a good fit for both rider and horse.” At Rafter W we are not just a saddle company, the Rafter W is a working cattle ranch as well.
